My problem Is That I Can’t Tell You My Problem

After living with diabetes for over 23 years this man has experienced some side effects in parts of his body that he would never wish for.

Case #: 847

Concern:

I need some advice. The problem is that I’m so shy that it’s difficult to tell you what my problem is. Would a clue help? It involves the most important nerve in the body. You get it, right? I’ve had diabetes for 23 years, and now it has affected “you know what.”

Because I’m diabetic, I take choline and B5 supplements to help the object of my wife’s affection to remain solid, and it does. However, I’ve heard about neuropathy, and I’m wondering if that’s the reason why sometimes I can’t feel what I need to feel where I need to feel it. What I mean is that I can’t feel a thing “down there” nowadays; even if I get this thing satisfactorily touchy-feely, I can’t get it to feel the right way. Do I make sense? Is there a supplement that can increase sensitivity?

“Doing it” has become very challenging. When I feel I’m reaching the point of no return, my wife is already coming back.

I’m sorry if I’m unclear, but my shyness prevents me from opening up about such private things; however, I need help. Can you be discreet in your response, though? If I don’t know, people don’t need to know. You get it, right?

Discussion:

We get it. The question is can we get you to follow a vital health regimen to get “you know what we’re talking about” back from “you know where?” The road isn’t as treacherous as you might think, and you don’t need to spill the beans on your treatment. It will be as easy as playing the game Clue.

People with diabetes have a tendency to develop candidiasis (yeast infection or thrush), which usually affects warm and damp areas of the body, locations the infection finds ideal to prosper. Diabetics exhibit high glucose levels, something the ‘candida albicans’ fungus thrives in. If besides the pain you are also experiencing itchiness, change in skin pigmentation, balanitis, and a “pasty” discharge you are suffering from thrush.

Don’t be shy about talking to your doctor regarding your problem because you may also need prescription medication. If your pain is caused by nerve damage (neuropathy), you may need to take pregabalin. Because you’ve been a diabetic for 23 years, you risk suffering from focal neuropathy. Pregabalin reduces the release of norepinephrine, glutamate and substance P, which neurotransmitters use to disseminate nerve impulses that include pain.

Penile injury could also be causing your discomfort. Engaging in reckless intercourse, using foreign sexual objects and experiencing blunt trauma can all cause penile lesions, which happen when the penis “breaks” during an erection. But there’s a natural treatment for your problems, and it isn’t a secret. (SEE: Penile Injury Relief)

You should also abide by a healthy diet, which includes:

  • Raw vegetables
  • Fatty fish
  • Fruits
  • Nuts
  • Grains
  • Leafy greens

To complement your healthy regimen, be open about getting some herbal antioxidants because no pain is a total gain:

  • Spirulina
  • Chlorella
  • Ecklonia
  • Astragalus
  • Schizandra
  • Alaria
  • Macrocystis pyrifera
